President Bill Kramer American Kuhne 401 Main Street Ashaway, RI USA 02804 Email: bkramer@americankuhne.com Biographical Sketch: Bill Kramer is the President and one of the founders of American Kuhne in Ashaway, Rhode Island, a manufacturer specializing in extruders, equipment, and controls for plastic and rubber extrusion. He has over 25 years experience in the plastic, rubber, and silicone extrusion industries, with positions in engineering, R&D, sales, and management. He was formerly Technical Director of the Davis-Standard Corporation. Bill has a Mechanical Engineer's Degree from Mitchell College in New London, Connecticut. He has given various Antec, Retec, and other papers and published various articles on extrusion subjects. He received the "Best Paper Award" at the 1985 Antec for his paper on gearpump applications and co-authored the extrusion chapter in the latest version of the SPI's Plastics Engineering Handbook. Bill was a member of the SPE Extrusion Board for 12 years, serving as 2003 Chairman and as the 2001 Antec Technical Program Chair. |
