His specialty is in the development of new polymer molecules that he takes from conception to commercialization, working at the process/product interface. He has been a pioneer in the development and commercialization of a process to produce EPDM containing high levels of Vinyl Norbornene without reaching the gel point. He later developed and patented a process to produce VNB containing EPDM using metallocene catalysts, with ability to control level of long chain branching. He has over 30 patents involving synthetic rubber based on polyolefins. Ravi has a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering and lives in Kingwood, Texas. |
