Biographical Sketch:
Mark was introduced to material testing and processing while working as a Chemical Laboratory Technician for 3 years with an adhesives and coatings manufacturer. During this time, he completed Electronic Engineering courses at the Technical Institute of Technology. Mark moved on as a research technician at a multiple component meter, mix and dispensing manufacturing company. Throughout those 12 years, Mark was promoted to Senior R&D Applications Engineer where he acquired three patents and gained experience in equipment design, development and manufacturing. Prior to working at ARDL, he spent time researching a patented grinding process and working with a urethane conveyor belt manufacturer. Initially hired at ARDL as a staff engineer in 1999, Mark became Assistant Engineering Manager in 2002. While Assistant Manager he continued to design and build custom test fixtures and equipment for ARDL to provide product-specific testing in failure analysis, life prediction and material improvements. Today he continues to apply his 27 years of R&D experience as Manager of the ARDL Engineering Group.
