New Improved Processing HNBR

With increased emphasis on cost savings in today’s global market, molded goods
manufacturers are looking for ways to reduce their overall processing cost. Often this can
be accomplished by using a lower Mooney viscosity base polymer. However, low
Mooney viscosity polymers typically yield significantly lower tensile strength and higher
compression set.

A new generation of HNBR has now been developed with a modified molecular
weight distribution that overcomes this problem. These new polymers exhibit improved
processability while maintaining high mechanical strength and compression set resistance.
They are applicable for injection molding, transfer molding, compression molding and
extrusion.
